“ This place is a gem. I visited there after a 6 hour tournament round. The servers were very nice and stopped by to talk. Clearly a sports hang out on weekends if you like football. Small family type restaurant. The food was great. They even threw in dessert as a good luck! True Southern hospitality. ”
“ The food here is AMAZING! Best chicken fingers of our lives. The grouper ala Kim (grilled) would hold up compared to any restaurant in the world! Want appetizers? You will love the buffalo shrimp, potato skins, and fried mushrooms. Did I mention the homemade ranch? What about the homemade desserts? So so good. The prices were EXTREMELY reasonable. The family owed restaurant gave you the feeling that you were a part of the family! This was my groups first trip to Southside Grill, but I guarantee it won’t be our last! “ After reading the reviews we decided to try this little grill! You won’t be disappointed if you try it. Prime rib was on special and was impeccably prepared and very flavorful with an jus and horseradish cream! Served with a yummy salt baked potato with lots of butter and sour cream. Shrimp were fresh tasting and jumbo! Would have maybe liked an ear of corn instead of the green beans since it is summer! Coconut cream pie if you have room for dessert! All house made! Owner is very interactive with his guests. Decor is all Pittsburgh and sports memorabilia! A bit of the Burgh at the beach he says! BYOB! Try is! No reservations and seating is limited but worth it! ”

There are plenty of selections to fix your hunger, not to mention a handful of dessert offerings. If you’re not a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, you might not want to look at all the wall hangings, but there are others that are quite entertaining and educational. ”

“ Prepare yourself. The desert is the best desert I’ve ever eaten. Coconut cream pie, berry cheesecake, carrot cake.... Owner bakes these at home. Unbelievable. No exaggeration. Best I’ve ever eaten. Also had the seafood platter and ribeye entrees. Crab cake, shrimp, grouper, fries, baked potato, green beans. All delicious. This is clearly where locals come. Everyone greeted everyone. Staff knows everyone. We were spotted as newbies and were treated like royalty. Owners and staff are SUPER good people. Fun, festive environment. Can’t wait to come back.
